What is the Real Agenda of the AFA?

Voices of Venango County: by Linda Henderson & Roxanne Hitchcock, Oil City

Once again, Diane Gramley of the American Family Association is using the Latonia as a fund-raising opportunity for her crusade. We recently received a copy of a a letter that she sent out to various people in the community.

In the letter she points out that gay and straight people are socializing without affiliation to known organizations.

She points out that the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Erie has a branch in Oil City where progressive-minded people of varied beliefs can seek spiritual growth together in peace.

She points out that we are supporting anti-discrimination and anti-harassment efforts. And that we are reaching out to those who are discriminated against. All true.

Our question is - if the AFA is given funds based on this information, what do she and her followers believe should be done to us?

If we should not socialize, should not organize, should not grow spiritually, but should be discriminated against and harassed, what is their intended outcome?
