Over the past few years, many people have spoken out about fairness and equality for all in Venango County via comments on this blog, letters-to-the-editor in The Derrick, video interviews, or simply by showing up for events, service activities and for one another here in our communities.
Together, these courageous acts are beginning to present a powerful new image of a much more welcoming approach to life in the hills of northwestern Pennsylvania.
In an attempt to honor and amplify these exciting developments, End Bigotry in Venango County will be highlighting such voices on an occasional basis here on the blog.
Stay tuned, and by all means, please send your ideas and/or contributions to help expand the concept. All comments are welcome, even if from readers outside the area. Knowing that we have allies far and wide is an inspiration.
