from The Advocate:
Fifth-grader Will Phillips from Washington County, Ark. is taking a lot of flak from his elementary school classmates for not reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, in protest for gay equality.
"I've grown up with a lot of people, and I'm good friends with a lot of people that are gay, and ... I believe they should have the rights all people should, and I'm not going to swear that they do," he said.
Jay Phillips, who appeared on CNN Monday morning with his son, said Will refused to say the pledge for several days. Will lost his temper with the substitute teacher who was overseeing his class when he decided not to recite the pledge. After a trip to the principal's office and a written apology for telling his teacher to "jump off a bridge," Will has been allowed to sit while his classmates recite the pledge each morning.
Will, who skipped the fourth grade and says he wants to be a lawyer, is enduring taunts and name-calling from fellow classmates. Nonetheless, he says he will continue to refrain from saying the pledge of allegiance each morning until there is truly "liberty and justice for all."
Wonderful Willy who is so "studied and determined to be a lawyer, needs to rethink what he is saying and doing in his defiance to the country that allows him to be who he is. Dear Will, You might stop and think what you are "saying" when you don't "say" the pledge? In effect, you are saying, you DO NOT VOW TO DEFEND it's contents. In other words, you are removing your voice and desire to uphold what it stands for. NOT "PLEDGING" this pledge simply means you don;t believe in it. You are taking the misguided stand that NOT pledging it means you don't agree it is happening? That's akin to saying, I am not going to believe in, or defend America until she conforms to what I believe, but I am not going to do anything to get to do that! And that's great Will, keep your mouth shut, please, do not pledge to make America your homosexualised America, we have enough of those fruitys as it is. Instead, remain silent and allow this America to breed more who believe you're a nut, thus, causing the pledge to be exactly what is meant to be! Which by the way, Mr. Harvard, meant; we will defend America from all those we BEAT TO DEATH that tried to instill an anti-God, de-parented society on us two hundred years ago! We call them the Euros, and to this day, they invade, pervade and persuade our children like you, that demoralizing our society is the "right" thing to do. Thank God for those great men and women who fought to rid this nation of that tyrannical pervert oriented way! Besides, after jumping passed 4th grade, you'll be thrown back to seventh grade when you reach the tenth for being so intolerant of those of us who actually love and defend our pledge and OUR nation OF GOD!
ReplyDeleteAnd before you "fight" for your mommy and daddies homosexual friends any more, you might check and see what they want to teach little children like you. Check out mass resistance and the fistgate tapes. (just ONE of many specialties of your family's new friends.)
